Kurt reached the pinnacle of the baseball world by playing in the major leagues for 15 years, half of that time spent with the San Diego Padres, where he achieved his greatest success, twice leading the National League in pinch hitting, and leading the Padres in Home Runs and RBI’s in the 1984 World Series, where he was named the Padres MVP. He also was named to the Padres All-Time team in 2000. Kurt now does the Padres pre-game social hour television show on Fox Sports West and also Padres pre and post-game radio on The Mighty 1090 AM.
